Every file we have sold in the United States since 2007 shares the same basic build. The curved shell sits flat in your palm so you can guide it across dry heels without straining your grip. Inside the tool, a built-in collection cup traps dry shavings as you file. That means nothing drops onto the bathroom rug or the floor tiles. You pull the cup open over a waste bin to empty it out. The metal surface works on dry skin only, so you skip soaking your feet before you start. It removes dry, dead skin. Classic details: blade count and extra finishing pads

Our Classic listing comes in white and sky blue plastic. It is the only model in the catalogue with a published blade count. The Classic surface holds 135 stainless steel micro-blades set across the curved plate. It also ships with 2 emery pads in the box. You stick an emery pad onto the bottom of the tool to smooth down rough spots after filing with the metal surface. If you want a plain look on the bathroom shelf and the original blade count stated in the description, this is the version to choose.

Designer Series patterns: rotating shells and the zebra

The printed Designer Series uses decorative patterns on the outer plastic cap. The standard printed listing ships in patterns that vary by production run, so the print on the box depends on the batch. That listing includes 2 emery pads alongside the file. If you prefer knowing the print before you buy, our second Designer Series listing comes in fixed zebra stripes. The zebra listing does not state extra box contents beyond the file itself, so you should not expect extra pads in that package.

Picking the shell pattern that suits your bathroom

Making a choice comes down to how you feel about the shell pattern and the box contents. The actual filing experience does not change between these models. You get the same egg shape, the same internal cup, and the same dry filing action across all three. Pick the Classic if you want white and sky blue with 2 emery pads and 135 stainless steel micro-blades. Pick the printed Designer Series if you like receiving a surprise pattern with 2 emery pads, or choose the zebra print if you want a set pattern on your counter.
